Mona Lisa smile

She's smiling but is she happy?

She looks happy so what does it matter?

A good time was had by all....

"Jose Cuervo Patron
You are friend of mine
I like to drink you with
A little salt and lime
Did I kiss all the cowboys
Did I shoot out the lights
Did I dance on the bar
Did I start any fights"

Him: the difference between you and me? I jump off the cliff, and you stand at the edge

Me: yeah, looking over and that's never a good thing, i do much better if i don't look down first

Him: you asked some questions regarding her, and then you encouraged me to go for it

Me: hehe...i'm good at advice like that, i just don't follow it

Happy HNT

It hardly seems possible that Os created Half-Nekkid Thursday a year ago. It has forged a camaraderie of online respect, friendship and creativity.

It has been fun to see how imaginative each person will get every week. Whether it be beautiful, funny, sexy or shocking, each person expresses their own creative side and let's all of us in on it.

I've also noticed how inspiring Half-Nekkid Thursday can be. There is something to be said for having something you've created or appreciated about yourself being appreciated by others as well.

With that being said I present my very first Half-Nekkid Thursday photo...

I've gotten over a lot of my shyness, eventually posting photos of my ass and my breasts but haven't participated in Half-Nekkid Thursday on a regular basis for a while. Now I mostly just watch....

Happy Half-Nekkid Thursday everyone!

It's all over except the sore muscles

Think 5K of uphill running on mountain trail. A beautiful but challenging course, harder than I expected but it was awesome. I was glad to see that finish line at the end though. There were two major hills that forced the crowd to walk and the downhill was just as challenging with switch backs that forced you to move carefully and a fairly rocky trail. All of which I know had to affect running time but it wasn't really about time, it was more about the run.

Whew...got that one out of the way for this year, now bring on the next!

Uuuggghhh....

Two days before my first race of the year and I'm sick.

I felt it coming on yesterday and last night didn't feel all that bad, just minor cold symptoms - today I feel worse.

I don't feel stuffy (I think the cold meds are helping there) but my throat is on fire. I hardly slept since I woke up every couple of hours feeling lousy. I've completely lost my appetite and can't seem to get enough water. Hot liquids seem to help my throat a lot so I've been drinking a lot of tea. The hot latte I got this morning is helping my throat feel better also.

I'm dosing up on vitamin C and hoping to get lots of rest. Now if only there were a magic pill to make all of these cold symptoms go away...at least until Saturday afternoon.

DWG, sorry about the message, I know it was basically inaudible. The bad connection and the fact that I was crying probably didn't help. We'll talk soon. Love ya!

Hey brah, howzit? Don't be huhu. This haole girl still loves you even when you get a little lolo, garans. Call and we talk story, k'den?

(plus, you know I'm cynical when it comes to matters of the heart)

It was painful to watch...

In his shortest outting since joining the Red Sox, Josh Beckett surrendered career highs in runs (nine) and earned runs (eight) while equaling a personal worst in home runs allowed (three) in Boston's 15 - 3 loss to the Cleveland Indians.

The damage was quick and emphatic, with Beckett ending his nightmarish night after just 3 2/3 highly uneconomical (100 pitches) innings.

Beckett will next take the ball on Tuesday night at Fenway Park against the Yankees, getting his official introduction to one of the fiercest rivalries in sports.

Yikes! Jeter, A Rod and Matsui are gonna light that boy up like a pinball machine just like Broussard did.

Os is on a cruise, I'm on a guilt trip...

Ok, not really but it sounded like a good title.

Guilt trips don't work with me. I don't respond well to attempts to guilt me into doing anything. In fact that is no way to get what you want with me. All it does is piss me off and make me less responsive.

Keep your guilt trips to yourself. Keep your snide little comments and suggestions, keep your "oh well"s and "whatever"s. They aren't for me and I don't want to hear them.

...I'm just sayin'

I have been thinking about you all day.

About you touching me, tasting me, your hands on my neck, my breasts.

Sliding over my nipples and down my stomach. Teasing me.

Your fingers caressing my thighs, sliding them open, slipping inside me.

Feeling how wet I get in response to your touch.

Stroking me, licking me, moving against me, in me.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about you all day.

Walt Whitman once said, "I see great things in baseball. It's our game, the American game. It will repair our losses and be a blessing to us."

The 2006 baseball season is almost here which gets me to thinking about averages and home runs and of course, my beloved Red Sox. That means it's also time for the best baseball movie ever - Bull Durham.

"C'mon Meat, throw me that weak-ass shit!"

Bull Durham tells of a season in minor league baseball for the Durham Bulls. Kevin Costner plays Crash Davis, a catcher who's been in the minors for a while, and been brought in to baby sit their hot young pitcher, Ebby Calvin "Nuke" LaLoosh, played by Tim Robbins.

"Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days."

Nuke has a "million dollar arm and a 5-cent head," and is wild off the field as he is on the mound. Susan Sarandon plays Annie Savoy, the town hottie who knows more about baseball than the coaches or scouts and takes on a player each year for baseball lessons and a little tutorial in the art of love-making.

"
Cute? Baby ducks are cute, I HATE cute! I want to be exotic, and mysterious!"

The movie has great humor and terrific baseball. Costner is charming, witty and sexy. Robbins is all arms and legs on the mound, and accurately portrays Nuke's physical and mental awkwardness and quirkiness on and off the field. Sarandon's sassy Annie Savoy is what every woman wants to be, she is smart and sexy.

"Yeah? From what I hear, you couldn't hit water if you fell out of a fucking boat."

Bull Durham was a star-making vehicle for everyone involved- Costner became a bigger star, Sarandon started her big comeback that led to an Oscar for Dead Man Walking a few years later, Robbins never looked back, and writer/director Ron Shelton has been making movies in Hollywood ever since.

It's baseball season my friends. My days and nights will now be occupied until October with base runners and fly balls and 7th inning stretches and "Sweet Caroline". I love this game!

"A good friend of mine used to say, "This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while."

Sweaty Half-Nekkid Thursday

I haven't participated in Half-Nekkid Thursday lately and wasn't planning on it today. However, as requested, I have posted.

After our conversation I went for a run and this is the result. Kind of a sweaty and gross Half-Nekkid Thursday....
