Weeeellll...

The summer hasn't started quite like I planned. Four days into the Sperry season I slipped on snow and rocks and broke my right wrist. Now I'm down the mountain in a very uncomfortable cast waiting for a follow-up dr. appointment on the 13th. Hopefully he will put a different cast on and I can go back to work on the 14th.

This whole thing has been sooo frustrating and I just want this off so I can have use of my right hand again.

Did I mention that I'm right-handed?

Gaaaaaaaaaaaa!

This reminds me of the Hee Haw skit where they sing, "if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all."

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get back up to the chalet soon.

:( That blows. I'm sorry, girl. Keep your chin up and, um...this is a good time to practice learning to become ambidextrous? ::hugs::

I hope this comment sits unread until the end of the summer.

Been there. Broke that. It was a good thing to become somewhat adept in using the left hand. Now if I can only learn to use a fork in the left hand and a knife in the right at the dinner table.....

Sorry, Girl. U have me leaking ears slowly now... MY dad didn't have much time for me either -- gave me the bare necessities for living til I was 17 and then got me enlisted in the AF and on my own. He was a Depression-era kid who never learned how to express his feelings. I made it a point to do better with MY kids and, tho I'm pretty much alone now, I get a weekly phone call with one and text messages from the other to make it not quite so lonely. Still would be nice to have someone to share love with... I mean REAL love, not the cheap BULLSHIT that so many talk and write about. I guess people have to be smarter than most are to do that tho. Pity... But here's a hug 4U: OXOXO
