Ever make one of those "no turning back" mistakes, those mistakes that could haunt you for a really long time? I am coming to terms with a big mistake, a mistake with possible enormous consequences. No, I'm not going to jail or anything. I haven't done anything illegal.
But I am also recognizing the valuable lesson that I'm learning. The upside is that I will be more cautious from now on, the downside is that I will also be a lot less trusting. It hasn't been fun, in fact for the most part it has sucked in a big way but I'm getting through it.
I don't think I'll be laughing about this one any time soon though.
To settle a wager I must now expound on the amazing (gag) victory by the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL.
The Steelers (barf) played an excellent game against the Seahawks (with the refs help) and dominated the game (hurl) from almost the beginning with incredible blocking, rushing and a stunning 43 yard touchdown by Hines Ward (blow chunks - oh wait, I've already done that).
The Steelers surpassed excellence both in their play of the game and in their sportsman-like conduct...ok, that's it. I can't go on. JG, I hope this settles our bet, but you still owe me dinner.
